the hero with a thousand faces

I have finally managed to print the first of a series of twelve works based on the writings of Joseph Campbell. The first image is called the Call to Adventure" A really amazing book that has set me on yet another path of

work. I seem to be hooked into a specific way of working that sets up long term projects. The first drypoint has taken a couple of months to finish and while I am not that happy about the final work I have begun to sort out the images and the ideas for the next eleven works. Like all previous prints there are a number of meaning and interpretations within the print, from the bath sitting on piles of books to eight shovels pushed into a pile of dirt .
